Leore Faber, Psy.D.

Therapy is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give yourself.  It is a challenging process through which you will learn about your relationships, characteristic patterns, and how to better cope during times of distress.  In my psychotherapy practice I value open-mindedness, introspection, humor, logic, and honesty.  Most of all, I am eager to learn and understand your personal story.

As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children.  I received my doctoral degree from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and a masters in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.  I completed my clinical training at the New York Center for Children, Columbia University Medical Center, and the Jewish Child Care Center.  I have treated and evaluated individuals with interpersonal relationship challenges, trauma symptoms, mood dysregulation, family conflicts, anxiety, and depression.

In addition to private practice work, I have spent years working in the NYC private school system, both in special education and progressive education settings.

I encourage you to explore my website and be in touch if you believe I would be a good fit for you or your loved ones.
